I’ve been seeing Elly for over a decade. I started with her in Sydney and then, by sheer luck, found her again when I moved to the Central Coast. Best reunion ever. She’s the only person I trust with my hair, and I don’t say that lightly. I’ve had my hair done in salons all over the world, and no one compares to Elly. She’s taken me from short chops to long, healthy, glossy hair with the perfect curl every time. She somehow gets the texture just right, like she knows what your hair is trying to do and makes it even better. The chats are always top-tier (therapy and hair in one), she’s incredibly accommodating. Even with two kids now, she somehow makes it work for me but fair warning: she’s busy. Book your appointments in advance. Like, now. If you want consistently beautiful, healthy hair, someone who listens and actually delivers, and an all-around lovely human to spend a few hours with, go see Elly. She is THE go to hair stylist for alternative hair on the coast and I recommend her to all. She’s honestly a hair artist, straying away from the trends of balayage and foils (though she can do them without a doubt) She creates a safe space for the not so conventional hair cuts and colours. I spent 2020 - 2024 cutting my own hair as I felt uncomfortable going to hairdressers on the coast as I couldn’t find anyone that did a grungier haircut affordably AND without judgement.
